Torrey Pines Elementary

Volunteer Requirements

Requirements are in place to ensure the safety of our students. Please complete the necessary paperwork and clearances for the type of volunteer duties you will be performing.  These requirements are set by SDUSD.

Requirements for All Volunteers:

  • Provide results of Tuberculin skin test.  If you've had a positive skin test in the past, bring a copy of your chest x-ray report.  TB tests are valid for 4 years from test date.
  • Complete and return a School Volunteer Application. If you are a new volunteer, you must fill out a Volunteer Application and return it to the office with your TB test results. If you have already turned in a volunteer application from last year and the TB test is OK, you will not need to do anything this year except let the teacher know you want to volunteer.  The teacher will then check the volunteer list from last year.
  • Read and acknowledge understanding of the Volunteer Code of Conduct

Additional requirements for Driving on School Field Trips:

  • Proof of Insurance and copy of driver's license.

If you have specific questions regarding your status at TPES or about any of the various forms listed above, please contact our Chris Marra.
