ABOUT GLEE CLUB
Glee Club is is available to 4th and 5th graders. The club meets on Tuesday afternoons after school and focuses on modern and popular choral music. In this group, we are able to apply the concepts we have learned to music that is fun and accessible. The Glee Club will learn how to read choral music, sing in two-part harmony, and explore dynamics and expression while singing songs like Katy Perry's "Firework" and "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey.
The Glee Club enrollment period typically occurs during late Fall (Session 1) and early Spring (Session 2). As an added bonus, Glee Club Session 1 may have the opportunity to perform at the Winter Concert and Glee Club Session 2 may have the opportunity to perform at the Spring Concert.
We hope to see some new faces during 2012-2013!
LATEST GLEE CLUB NEWS!
We will be starting Glee Club again in February 2013.
The Glee Club will be open to all 4th and 5th graders and will meet in the auditorium on Tuesdays after school from 3pm-4pm. The first meeting will be on February 12, 2013, and will continue until May.
If your child is interested in joining, simply show up on the first day. Ms. Tang, TPES Music Teacher, will briefly listen to each student sing to place them in a voice part.
